Why ”Sprachkonstrukt“?
It’s German for ”(programming) language construct“ and the name of my blog. Since this theme was first used there, it got its name.
Where is “Sprachkonstrukt1”?
The predecessor of this theme was not that good-looking and not available to public.

If X is Internet Explorer, I’m afraid you have to live with it. Internet Explorer does not fully support modern web standards. Why don’t you use Chrome, Safari, Firefox or Opera instead?

Then you don’t have Helvetica Neue installed. Get a Mac
The social buttons on the left don’t show up!
Be sure to set the Title Attribute of your menu items correct (not just the Navigation Label!). For Twitter, it should be Twitter, for Facebook Facebook, for RSS RSS, … see here for the details
How do i get my own logo into the header?
Upload it using wordpress’ custom header feature. If you want, you can use the ./wp-content/themes/sprachkonstrukt2/images/headers/header.psd Photoshop File as a template for designing your own header.
Where is the submenu for the main navigation?
Nowhere, sorry. Just first-level-entries will be displayed.
My blog isn’t written in English, can I still use this theme?
Yes! German Language Files are included, as is the sprachkonstrukt.pot Language Template File. Using a Tool like POEdit you can translate the theme yourself. Don’t worry, it’s not that much.
What Colors are used in your CSS? I want to change them.
Just search and replace the following colors in the main stylesheet of your Child Theme:
- #628a14 Links primary
- #405020 Links hover
- #96D321 Headline Link hover
- #96d336 Sidebar Headlines
- #ebf1e3 Background (Comments,
pre, …)
Additionally, you should change the color of /images/topmenu.png and /images/gravatar.png using a image editing software. For example, in Photoshop use the “Hue/Saturation” Tool and edit the Hue.

Hey dude, love your blog software. The only thing is I for the life of me can’t get the social tabs to work. When I try and add a new menu my screen doesn’t look anything like yours. Any help would be appreciated plezzzzz!

Is your menu assigned to “Social Buttons” in “Theme Locations”?
Are the title attributes set correctly?
Did you hit the “Save” and the “Save Menu” Buttons?

Looks great but I keep getting random words being linked to other shopping / info sites. Is there a way to stop this?

I just uploaded your template. It looks great thanks. The only problem I have is that here is a link at the very bottom of the page for a free online casino. How do I get rid of that link as it is inappropriate for my blog. Thanks.
There is no advertising delivered with the theme. If you didn’t place it there, your server may have been hacked.
