Hi, i have just started using your theme sprachkonstrukt2. Thanks. I like it a lot.
I would like to remove the search box and button to make room for more menus.
Is their a way to do this reasonably simply?
Thanks, Terry
Create a child theme (http://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes) where you delete the search box from the template file.
I like your theme very much except for one thing i can’t upload any files jpg or gif or pdf it won’t work. It keeps telling me that the server file content-uploads is not writable. My hosting provider assures me that it is set on 0755 and should work with these settings. What did I do wrong?
Clearly an issue with wordpress or your server, not the theme. See http://codex.wordpress.org/Changing_File_Permissions for details.
I cant figure out how to put the facebook tweeter and google under the rss feed like you have can you give me some hints? And another thing the posts onthe blog come out full lenght dont show like preview like ive selected.
thanks

Could you please respond at the second question too, posts in blog are shown in full length i want them in a preview so this way the page doesnt have 5 km
thanks for the help
First off, I love this theme. Thanks for putting in your time and effort into developing it.
There is a bug in the sprachkonstrukt2 theme causing the category page to repeat the loop twice. In line category.php you have line 24 calling the loop as well as line 28. Removing line 28 allows this to function correctly.
Also, you are instantiating the loop at the top of this file in line 13 and 14, but then loading the loop.php file which also calls ‘have_posts()’ and ‘the_post()’. I think this may also lead to performance issues on larger sites.
I’ve removed all these lines and the archives and category pages work without error. Please let me know if I’m missing something on these.
Cheers!
Thank you very much!
I kept getting bug reports on this, but could never really reproduce the issue. Now I see the error, and will fix it in the next update.
No problem! Thanks for being quick to respond and keep up the good work.
there is solution for category.php : http://blog.i-lord.net/category.txt
I get a 404 on your link…
Every Tag give me an error:
Tag Archives: Neothink
Not Found
No results were found, sorry.
Links from a Google search give me this error at the top of the post as well.
How to solve???
Thanks in advance.
Mack
I also get this error on Archives:
Category Archives: What Our Members Say
Not Found
No results were found, sorry.
I am having similar issues with the tag page:

Tag Archives: PEBCAK

I’ve been mucking about in tag.php but the issue does not appear to be there
I think I may have fixed the tag page…
I commented out line 14 “the_post();”
I also commented out the next to last line “get_template_part…”
Seems to work… but still testing
I think I have resolved the tag.php issues… there were a couple
1) there were two loops… one for tags and one for archive, I removed the last loop for archive
2) the tag page had category code in it… I stripped out code from another theme’s tag.php and used it successfully and removed the category code
I also added a tag description under the Tag Name header.
If the author would like these fixes to review/update/fix/whatever they are posted up at http://pastebin.com/qJcXLdfC
Thanks again for a great theme … hope this helps
This is a known issue that will be fixed in the next version. But thanks for reporting!
